Privacy Policy
How Chemsol collects, uses and protects personal information.
Last updated: 28 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal information Chemsol Engineering Services (Pvt.) Ltd (“Chemsol”, “we”, “us”) collects through chemsol-pk-595363.hostingersite.com, why we collect it, who can see it and what choices you have. We have kept it short and specific to what this website really does.
Who we are
Chemsol Engineering Services (Pvt.) Ltd supplies water treatment chemicals and equipment and delivers water treatment projects in Pakistan. Our website address is https://chemsol-pk-595363.hostingersite.com.
You can reach us at info@chemsol-pk-595363.hostingersite.com or on +92 (061) 4233022. Our head office is at 05 - Talao Market, Near Bahawalpur Chowk, Muzaffargarh Road, Multan, Pakistan. We also have offices in Lahore, Rawalpindi (Wah Cantt) and Karachi; their details are on the contact page.
What we collect, and why
We collect only what you choose to send us, and use it only for the reason you sent it.
- Contact form. Your name, e-mail address, subject and message, and, if you add them, your phone number and company. We use them to reply to you.
- Quote and sample requests. Your name, company, phone number and/or e-mail address, the products and quantities you ask about, delivery city, the date you need them, any technical details you add, how you prefer to be contacted, and your tick confirming that we may contact you. We use them to prepare a quote or sample, arrange delivery and follow up on your request. Each request gets a reference number.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe in the footer, your e-mail address. We use it only to send you news about our products, projects and events, and keep it until you unsubscribe; every e-mail has an unsubscribe link.
- Meeting requests. Your name and e-mail address, and, if you add them, your phone number, company and role; what you would like to meet about, the dates you suggest and your message. We use them to reply, arrange and confirm the meeting. Our replies are kept with your request, which you can read on a private page that only your personal link opens.
- Event guest registration. Your name and e-mail address, and, if you add them, your phone number, company and role; how many people are coming, what you hope to get from the event and any message. We use them to manage the guest list of that event, to confirm your place and to contact you about it.
- Letters for event participants. If you ask us for a visa support letter, a confirmation of registration or a certificate: your name, e-mail address, company and role and, for a visa support letter, your nationality, date of birth, passport number and expiry date, your travel dates and who pays for your visit. We use them only to write and issue the letter, and so that anyone holding it can check that it is genuine; that check shows only your name, the event, the dates and whether the letter is still valid, never your passport number or date of birth. Passport details are stored in encrypted form, can be read only by the staff who write letters, and are erased once they are no longer needed after the event.
- Participant portal. If you create a participant account: your name, e-mail address, nationality and a password (kept only as a one-way scrambled code); and, if you add them, your phone number, company, role, country and city, a profile photo, your date of birth, and your identity document details: a passport number, its expiry date and issuing country, or, for Pakistani citizens, your NIC number. You may also upload a scan of your passport or NIC, a ticket or other travel papers. We use them to register you for events, to check your identity at entry, to write the letters you ask for (a visa support letter is never needed by Pakistani citizens) and to reply to you. Passport and NIC numbers, your date of birth and every uploaded file are stored encrypted, kept away from the public website, and can be opened only by you and the staff who check them; each time staff open a scan it is recorded. You can change your details, delete a file or your photo, or erase your whole account at any time from the portal, and we erase passport and NIC details once they are no longer needed after the event.
- Article comments. If you comment on a blog article: your name, your e-mail address and your comment. A comment is checked automatically for spam and published at once when it passes; one that looks doubtful (for example, it contains a link) is read by a person before it appears. Your name and comment are shown under the article; your e-mail address is never shown and is used only by us to deal with the comment (for example to answer it, or to tell spam from real comments). We also keep a one-way code made from your IP address, which cannot be turned back into your address, to spot floods of spam. Ask us to remove a comment you wrote at any time.
- Careers. If you e-mail us a CV, we use it only to consider you for a role at Chemsol.
- Calls, e-mails and WhatsApp. Whatever you send us when you contact us directly.
- Protection against spam. Our forms check a hidden field and how long the form took to fill in. Your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated submissions; with a quote request, a meeting request or a guest registration we save only a one-way code made from it, which cannot be turned back into your address.
We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
chemsol-pk-595363.hostingersite.com does not use advertising or analytics cookies and has no tracking pixels. Two things are stored in your browser:
- Your light or dark display choice, if you use the switch, is remembered in your browser’s local storage so the page looks the same next time. It is never sent to us.
- Our staff who sign in to the portal receive a session cookie that keeps them signed in. Visitors do not receive it.
- A participant who signs in to the participant portal receives a separate session cookie that keeps them signed in for two weeks, or until they sign out. Nobody else receives it.
If we add analytics in the future, we will say so on this page first.
Content from other websites
A few things on this site come from other services, which may set cookies or collect data under their own policies:
- Videos in our gallery play from YouTube (using its privacy-enhanced address) or Vimeo, and load only after you press play.
- The map on the contact page is a Google Map and loads from Google when the page opens.
- Links to LinkedIn and WhatsApp take you to those services when you choose to follow them. The share buttons on articles are plain links to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and e-mail: nothing from those services is loaded until you press one.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with:
- our own staff and offices who deal with your request;
- the companies that run the website for us, such as our hosting and e-mail provider, only as far as they need it to do that;
- transport or delivery partners, when you ask us to deliver goods (your delivery contact details);
- professional advisers, courts or authorities, when the law requires it.
Our service providers’ servers may be outside Pakistan, so your information may be processed in another country.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, quote requests and the related correspondence for as long as we need them to respond to you, to supply the products or services you ask for, and to keep ordinary business, accounting and legal records. When we no longer need them, we delete them or remove what identifies you. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
How we protect it
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. The portal where we read your messages is open only to named staff with their own sign-in, passwords are stored in scrambled form, each person sees only what their role allows, and changes are recorded in an activity log. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please do not include passwords or payment details in a message to us.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or accounting reasons;
- stop contacting you about a request, or at all.
E-mail info@chemsol-pk-595363.hostingersite.com or call +92 (061) 4233022. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request. We handle personal information in line with the laws of Pakistan that apply to us.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. The version on this page is the one that applies.
